Linc Housing’s 2025 Summer Intern Program offers young adults a paid, hands-on opportunity to explore careers in affordable housing and nonprofit service. The program reflects Linc’s commitment to investing in the next generation and the values that guide our work — collaboration, integrity, caring, excellence, innovation, and transparency.
This summer, seven interns are making meaningful contributions across departments. Emani, interning in housing development, will begin her senior year of high school this fall. She plans to attend a four-year college and pursue a degree in nursing, with hopes of giving back to her family and community. Siri, interning in corporate development, is a high school senior who hopes to major in global studies or history. Away from Linc, she balances school, college planning, and creative art projects. Evan, working in asset management, recently graduated high school and will begin studying evolution and ecology at UC Santa Cruz — when he’s not experimenting with new dessert recipes.
Supporting Linc’s resident services team are four dedicated interns gaining valuable experience in both the corporate office and the field. Leani, a high school student planning to attend Langston University to become a pediatric nurse, brings a strong interest in health and caregiving. Grace, also a high school senior, enters her first formal internship after volunteering with The People Concerned and gaining hands-on experience babysitting, tutoring, and pet sitting. Lucy, entering her third year as a sociology student at Cal Poly Pomona, is eager to explore how community-based programs can foster equity and social change. Leandra, who recently graduated with honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Cinema Studies and a minor in Disability Studies, brings her passion as a disability advocate and her experience in film, inclusion, and accessibility to the team. Together, these four interns are deepening their understanding of the programs and supports that build community and stability across Linc properties.
Together, the Linc interns represent the next generation of thoughtful, community-minded leaders. Their fresh perspectives and dedication are helping to advance Linc’s mission and create lasting, positive impact.
