About

Working together, Linc Housing and the County of Los Angeles have developed an extensive project that combines affordable housing and safe accessible pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists in order to connect people to the key destinations in their community. Residents who are coming from homelessness receive Intensive Case Management Services from Linc.

Springhaven is part of Linc Housing’s initiative to integrate affordable housing with health resources and other services for stronger neighborhoods. The Drew Child Development Corporation will serve as our onsite partner to provide quality childcare for the community. A partnership with the Los Angeles County of Department Health Services allows us to serve 50 formerly homeless households with supportive housing at Springhaven. Additional units serve families earning up to 60% of area median income.

The property is within a quarter-mile of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, Augustus Hawkins Mental Health Center, several public schools, and the Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Metro Station. Healthy building features and multi-faceted services support resident health and wellbeing.

Resident services will include an after-school program, adult education, and community engagement activities.
