About
Mosaic Gardens at Huntington Park is located on the site of a former vacant motel on Middleton Street in Huntington Park. Linc Housing restored and renovated the building to serve as a home for limited-income families and transition age youth (TAY), ages 18-24, receiving services from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH).
The former 55 motel rooms have been converted into 24 apartments to provide each family a space of their own.

The former 55 motel rooms have been converted into 24 apartments to provide each family a space of their own. The ground floor’s windows look out onto a quiet residential community and nearby Gage Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue provide easy access to transportation, grocery stores, and job opportunities. We built a large community courtyard with a tot lot and barbecues for residents to enjoy. A community room, private counseling rooms, and computers provide space for social activities and services that will support residents at Mosaic Gardens at Huntington Park.
Linc is committed to developing housing that sits lightly on the earth and offers training for residents to build healthy and sustainable habits in their new homes, including water and energy conservation. Mosaic Gardens at Huntington Park has been registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and has received a LEED for Homes Platinum certification. Green building features include: energy efficient appliances, drought tolerant landscaping, and high efficiency plumbing fixtures. Rooftop panels fuel the property’s solar hot water preheating system.
