Linc Housing apartments' rents are restricted to be affordable to residents whose income is considered low or extremely low compared to averages for the county in which the housing is located. For example, for 2022 in Los Angeles County, a family of four earning less than $59,550 would qualify for an apartment built for a household at 50% of area median income. The funding sources used to pay for construction of the housing determine what the income qualifications are to live in the building, and income limits will vary from property to property.

If you are interested in an existing Linc Housing community, please contact the property management staff at that building to ask about available apartments, income requirements, and how to apply. Some properties may have waiting lists, and occasionally waiting lists may be full due to high demand. Search Linc communities using out interactive map on the the Communities page.
If you have a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, it is generally accepted at Linc's properties. Please contact the property management at the apartment community you are interested in to inquire about availability.
