In 2000, a drug raid at what was once the Anderson Oaks Apartments led to the
arrest of 21 suspects, many of whom were residents. Within one month, county
and city officials declared the site uninhabitable. In 2002, in our second
partnership with the City of Anderson, LINC acquired the site and began
rehabilitation of four buildings, and new construction of two buildings,
including a new community center. With design concepts that promote public
safety as well as active and independent living for seniors and frail elderly,
SEASONS at Los Robles has transformed a blighted neighborhood into a safe and
affordable community.
Soon after the propertys grand opening in 2005, it was honored by being
selected to host the City of Andersons National Night Out
festivities, signifying the turn taken by the community since the sites
rehabilitation. Additionally, property values and private investment free of
public subsidy have increased in the area immediately surrounding SEASONS at
Los Robles. Residents enjoy the beauty of the nearby Anderson River Park, and
the convenience of having services in walking distance including the new Anderson
Eye Clinic just next door. In the coming months, a new medical office center will
open across the street.
