We are pleased to be honoring LINC and its cutting-edge use of new media in
affordable housing outreach for its highly-engaging Podcast series, said NHC
President and CEO Conrad Egan. The out-of-the-box series demonstrates
LINCs clear understanding of the increasing role the Internet plays as a primary
source of news and information for many Americans.
Each 15-30 minute episode in the LINC Podcast series covered a wide range of issues related
to affordable housing and housing policy. The programs provided listeners with entertaining
segments, including housing trivia, housing haiku, and, ultimately, compelling interviews
with some of the nations most respected housing industry leaders. The Podcasts could
be downloaded on users computers or MP3 players for listening at any time.
We are honored to be receiving NHCs Excellence in Affordable Housing
