Position: Financial Counseling Volunteer
Objective: Improve the economic well being of limited income
families and seniors by providing support to financial management programs that
educate the community in banking, budgeting, credit management, home ownership,
identity theft, investing, predatory lending, retirement management,
and saving
Reports to: Program Facilitator & Volunteer Coordinator

Homeowners Insurance

Major Responsibilities:
|
| 1. |
With the guidance of a Program Facilitator, present a 1-2
hour lesson on your specific area of expertise in financial management
|
| 2. |
Assist in facilitation of workshop
|
|
Qualifications:
|
| 1. |
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age (exceptions to
be made at volunteer coordinators discretion)
|
| 2. |
Previous experience in presenting or facilitating workshops
is welcome but not necessary
|
| 3. |
Enthusiasm, patience, and ability to communicate with diverse
populations is essential
|
|
