Paid and Unpaid Internship Opportunities

Asset Management
Research Intern (Unpaid): will help with general office work and will conduct in house research on our properties and organize data that allows for efficiency.

Corporate Development & Communications
Intern (Paid): will assist department director and staff with communications and fund raising activities. Duties to include writing letters, filing, and general assist with coordination of large social events, board of directors activities, corporate publications, web site, and podcast. Internship may lead to full time position.

Housing Development
Intern (Unpaid): will assist senior staff in developing affordable housing. Duties may include coordinating real estate development tasks, site and neighborhood analysis, data collection and internet research.

Resident Services
Research Intern (Unpaid): will work closely with the Resource Developer to update demographics information for each of our properties and assist in identifying programs and service partners for selected communities.

Community Engagement Intern (Unpaid): will work with Resident Services team to develop community building activities at selected communities; will interact and engage with residents, property managers and general community; will prepare program flyers and business letters.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Experience: Related experience in affordable housing industry or similar social services areas, residential real estate preferred but not required.

Educational Background: Must be at least a second year undergraduate student or graduate student.

Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Access, etc.); excellent oral and written communications skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work within a team environment; fluency in Spanish, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin or other languages a plus but not required.
