James R. Walther - Vice Chair

James Walther is a partner and National Practice Area Administrator, Corporate and Securities Law Department at Mayer Brown LLP in Los Angeles. He is involved in corporate practice for public and privately held financial institutions and other types of companies, including mergers and acquisitions, anti-takeover and proxy contest advice, public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, and executive compensation arrangements. He served as counsel for Glendale Federal Bank, Coast Savings Financial Inc., and CENFED Financial Corporation. Jim also serves on the Board of Trustees of Children’s Bureau of Southern California.
