Ken Sofge - Director

Ken is Territory Risk Manager for Wachovia Bank’s Community Development Finance group. He is responsible for the West Region that includes California and Nevada. The mission of Wachovia’s Community Development Finance is to serve underserved communities through construction and permanent financing of affordable and workforce housing and to provide capital to spur economic development. Ken brings considerable experience and expertise in the community development and affordable housing industries, having managed a $2.5 billion portfolio of LIHTC and Historic Tax Credit equity investments and a portfolio of roughly $3.3 billion in loans to syndicators. In addition to over 20 years as a real estate lender, Ken is a California licensed attorney as well as a licensed Series 7 registered representative.
