Mark Pisano - Director

Mark Pisano is Executive Director of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), the nation’s largest regional planning agency. The purpose of this voluntary association of local governments is to provide an open forum for dealing with concerns for air and water quality, transportation, regional growth and development, housing, and other critical area-wide issues. Prior to joining SCAG, Mr. Pisano was Director of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Water Quality Planning Division.

 
In addition to LINC Housing, Mr. Pisano has served as a founding board member of numerous governmental and nonprofit organizations formed to achieve specific objectives including California Center for Research and Development, Housing and Community Development Council, California Foundation for Energy and the Environment, Southern California Hazardous Waste Management Authority, California Transportation Directions, and California Leadership. Mr. Pisano is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California’s School of Policy, Planning and Development as well as a member of the Advisory Board at the Lewis Center for Regional Studies at UCLA.
