Tiena has nearly two decades of experience in community development and affordable housing
finance. She is the vice-president and team leader for the US Bank Commercial Real Estate
Group in Los Angeles. She manages the banks community development activity in affordable
housing, single-family for-sale units, retail facilities, and other commercial spaces including
childcare facilities and community centers. Her group provides various kinds of lending facilities,
including loans structured with low income housing tax credits, affordable housing bonds, mortgage
revenue bonds, new market tax credits, as well as local, state, federal finance programs.
Previously, Tiena has worked with the Los Angeles Housing Department, Bank of America, and the
Los Angeles Community Design Center. She has an MBA from the University of Redlands, an MA in
Planning from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from Howard University.
She has also completed the USC Minority Real Estate and Finance Development Certificate Program
and coursework at the UCLA Extension.
Tiena values taking an active role in her community. In addition to her board service at LINC
Housing, she is the Co-Chair of the Economic Committee for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc,
Eta Nu Omega Chapter, the Grant Committee for US Bancorp Foundation, and a member of the Angeles
Plaza Advisory Board for the Retirement Housing Foundation.
