Richard N. Berger - Director

 
Mr. Berger is currently the Assistant Director of the Economic & Development Department for the City of Daly City. He has worked for the City of Daly City for the past 17 years in various supervisory capacities. The department has the following divisional responsibilities: Planning, Building, Economic Development, Housing and Community Development, Code Enforcement and the City’s Redevelopment activities.

Mr. Berger has more than 28 years experience working in both the private and public sectors, as well as in nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Specific experience has involved the planning, project management, and implementation of a variety of projects including setting up housing authorities, economic development ventures, and affordable housing development projects.
