Fountain decorated by kids to be dedicated today
The Desert Sun, Local briefs for Saturday, March 17, 2007 COACHELLA -- Mayor Eduardo Garcia and Councilman Richard Macknicki are scheduled to attend a fountain dedication this morning at Las Flores Apartments in Coachella. Twenty-four kids who live in the apartment complex and participated in an Indio S.C.R.A.P Gallery program in which they created colorful clay flowers transformed the plain base of the fountain into a vibrant work of art.
