Tatia D. Sheffield
Director of Asset Management

 

 
Tatia D. Sheffield oversees management of the operating property assets within LINC’s portfolio, ensuring financial, contractual and legal compliance. In this capacity, she supervises the day-to-day effectiveness of the property management companies’ operation, and directs the work of the asset management staff. Tatia brings to LINC nearly 20 years of property management, affordable housing administration, consulting, and training experience. Her unique expertise in multi-family layered finance funding source compliance, fair housing laws, property management, and training fosters the growth of opportunities within LINC’s expanding portfolio.

Tatia’s industry experience as the assistant vice president with Urban Futures Incorporated in Orange County bolster’s LINC’s capacity to exceed compliance requirements. Tatia was responsible for monitoring over 400 multifamily affordable housing projects with affordable programs combining tax exempt multifamily bonds, low income housing tax credits, HOME, land use, earthquake emergency loan programs, Neighborhood Preservation Program and CDBG funding sources. As a property director with SHEA Business Properties in Aliso Viejo, functions included marketing, budgeting, training, resident relations and supervision of staff and contractors.

Tatia earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College. She holds the designations of the National Association of Home Builders Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), National Compliance Professional Executive (NCP Exec), and is a NeighborWorks Training Institute’s Homebuyer Education Trainer. Additionally, she has obtained various certifications in principles of real estate, asset and property management, HOME and low income tax credit compliance, strategic and tactical planning, quality management, and financial operations.

Tatia, an OC songbird, loves jazz, classic movies, reading, needlecrafts, and professional sports. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and the Vice President of the FEM Investments Club where she’s been a member for over seven years.
