Renee Helland
Asset Manager

As an Asset Manager, Renee is responsible to oversee the management of properties within the LINC portfolio. Renee works directly with management companies, finance lenders, and investors — ensuring compliance with financial, physical, and administrative performance of all affordable housing properties.

 
Joining LINC with more than 14 years experience in the housing industry, she brings her diverse skills and experience to the asset management studio. Her career began as a resident manager in a very undesirable building, at which she successfully directed the “clean up” for re-sale. She was successful, as the project sold for much more than originally anticipated. In her later role as supervisor, she established a property management company for an independent owner. Since then, she has held supervisor positions with various management companies including Interstate Realty Management Co. and Barker Management Inc. where she gained affordable housing experience.

 
Renee gets enthusiastically involved with all property staff by motivating and encouraging high performance. Additionally, she works closely with various departments to ensure compliance with all multi-layered funding sources is met. This has ensured successful, professional, and friendly relationships throughout her career.

Renee holds a variety of certifications with AHMA and QUADEL in the affordable housing field, including National Compliance Professional (NCP) and the Assisted Resident Manager (ARM.) She attended Bassist College, majoring in marketing and management.

Renee enjoys music, reading, friends and family, and occasionally throws in a game of tennis.
