Kent Davis is Senior Vice President and LINCs Chief Operating
Officer. In this role, he oversees activities for property acquisition,
housing development, asset management, resident services, finance, and
operations. Kents management and financial expertise comes from
years of service in the nonprofit and finance arenas. His experience
includes the underwriting or private placement of affordable housing
bonds in excess of $1 billion and he has acted as financial advisor on
development projects with a total worth that exceeds
$500 million.

Previously, Kent spent seven years as an officer in investment banking
where he focused on municipal bond financing for affordable housing. The
firm, Newman & Associates, was purchased several times with ownership
including GMAC, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., and Citigroup. Prior to
that Kent worked in structured finance and lending as well as asset management
at Union Bank, First Federal Bank and Great Western Bank and served as Vice
President – Financial Products at Century Housing.
Kent holds an MBA from the Peter Drucker Management Center at Claremont
Graduate School and earned his undergraduate degree in Communications at
Sacramento State University. He and his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Shea,
have lived in Long Beach for the past 15 years. Kent enjoys all forms of
exercise, golf, and watching his daughter play soccer.
