Kathy Heffner
Executive Assistant & Human Resources Representative
Kathy Heffner is the Executive Assistant and Human Resources Representative at LINC. In her role as
Executive Assistant, Kathy provides administrative support to the President & CEO, schedules all
appointments, maintains records, and prepares reports. She is the initial contact for administrative
inquiries. Kathy also serves as liaison to the LINC Board of Directors for whom she maintains official
minutes and records of all proceedings.

As the Human Resources Representative, Kathy provides guidance to staff and management, administers the
day-to-day operations in all of the various areas of human resources. Kathy provides support to the staff
and management by administering benefit programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce
with the strategic goals of the company.
Kathy comes to LINC with more than 14 years experience as an Executive Assistant and 7 years in Human
Resources working in varied industries. Kathys extensive experience in grocery, automotive, and
roofing corporations has afforded a wide range of supervisory responsibilities, making her a perfect fit
for the LINC team. Much of Kathys expertise comes from her long experience as an Administrative
Assistant. She has taken coursework related to her title and recently completed certificate programs in
Human Resources, Managing Multiple Jobs and Responsibilities, and Time Management. Kathy is also enrolled
in the Human Resources Management Program at California State University Long Beach.
Away from the office, Kathy enjoys outdoor activities ranging from dirt bike riding, visiting wineries
to add to her collection, and walking on the beach. She loves photography and her pictures decorate not
only her home, but those of her friends. Kathy fulfills her passion for community volunteer work through
her 20-year membership in the social and philanthropic sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, wherein she has held
several leadership positions.
