Gabriela Cook
Asset Manager
As an Asset Manager, Gabriela is responsible for overseeing the physical, administrative
and financial performance of LINCs affordable housing portfolio while maintaining
close relationships with lenders, investors, and property management firms in order to
ensure that our projects meet all program requirements.

Gabriela joins LINC with more than 15 years experience in the affordable housing
industry. She has held positions as an apartment manager and property supervisor
for conventional, tax credit, and Section 8 housing with Levine Management Group,
where she learned first hand the specific aspects of each type of housing. While
working on the property management side, she became an occupancy compliance
specialist, acquiring tangible leasing and recertification experience. Gabriela
had the opportunity to apply this knowledge base when she established the compliance
department for Los Angeles Community Design Centers newly formed property
management company, Design Center Housing Services.

Subsequently, she became a compliance auditor and analyst for tax credit syndicator,
Edison Capital. Soon after, she transitioned to the asset management department at
Edison Capital where she deepened her knowledge of key real estate variables and
acquired a comprehensive knowledge of the different sides of the
industry.
Gabriela is currently finishing a double major in Spanish and Translation and
Interpretation Services at California State University, Long Beach. She also has
French and Spanish degrees from her native country of Argentina. Additionally, she
holds HCCP, NCP, TaCCS and HUD Subsidized Multifamily Housing Occupancy
Certifications. Gabriela, her husband Jerome, and two year-old daughter Sofia
enjoy family and outdoor activities.
