Clare Ofield
Resident Services Intern

 
Clare Ofield is our LINC Cares resident services coordinator for the families at the City Gardens Apartments in Santa Ana and the seniors at the SEASONS at San Juan Capistrano Apartments. For the children at the City Gardens after-school program she provides homework help, computer assistance, healthy living curriculum, and arts and crafts. For our seniors that live at the SEASONS at San Juan Capistrano Apartments she facilitates our health and wellbeing program, including exercise and nutrition classes, health screenings, and community engagement activities.

 
Clare has 13 years of experience as a high school art & design teacher working with teenagers with a wide range of needs and from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. She feels privileged to have worked with great kids who have grown into amazing adults. After moving to California from the United Kingdom with her husband in 2009, Clare started volunteering with LINC Cares at City Garden’s after-school program. In 2010, she was recognized for her dedication and commitment to LINC Cares by winning the LINC Housing Volunteer of the Year Award. We are please she has joined the LINC Cares staff.

Clare graduated from DeMontfort University with a degree in design & production and a post graduate certificate in education. Since being in the United States, she has skied in the mountains, dirt biked in the desert and learned to surf in the pacific — she loves California. Clare also enjoys motorcycling, running and kickboxing.
