Prior to joining LINC, Allison had nearly five years experience in the financing
of affordable housing projects throughout the United States, primarily in the
Rocky Mountain region. As an underwriter for tax credit syndicator WNC and
Associates, Inc., she managed projects through the syndication process from the
initial letter of understanding to the close of construction financing. In this
role she reviewed project due diligence, identified and mitigated project risk,
and ensured projects meet with investor standards. Allison also worked for
HUDs Multifamily Development Department in Denver where she specialized
in the mortgage credit analysis of multifamily projects for both FHA mortgage
insurance and capital advance programs.
Allison got her start in affordable housing development at the Boulder County
Housing Authority (BCHA). As a Housing Planner at the BCHA, she was primarily
responsible for the acquisition program where she secured state and conventional
financing to acquire small multifamily apartment units throughout Boulder
County.
Allison earned her Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the
University of Colorado. A member of the Southern California Association of
Non Profit Housing and the American Planning Association, she is also a
Colorado-licensed real estate broker.
Allison migrated to California in 2006 and enjoys hiking, yoga, and reading
and relaxing at the beach.
