SEASONS at Redondo Beach is a newly constructed community for active seniors on limited incomes. Its 150 craftsmen style apartments and gracious walkways complement this upscale beach community of historic homes. We applaud the City of Redondo Beach for setting aside this former school site on prime commercial property for their seniors, giving them easy access to the shops, restaurants, churches, and the local senior center. Seniors responded by showing up on the construction site daily encouraging the carpenters and pointing out the units they wanted to call home.

Apartments for these active seniors feature one or two bedrooms, modern kitchen, central heating and air conditioning, and patio or balcony. The clubhouse with gracious community room, kitchen, and management offices is the setting of many activities and on-site social services. It overlooks the pool, spa, and patio, and enjoys afternoon breezes and a view toward the ocean.

SEASONS at Redondo Beach was awarded the “Gold Nugget Award” from Pacific Coast Builders Conference and is featured as a case study in the Urban Land Institute’s Housing for Seniors: Developing Successful Projects.
